대승한지마을 DAESEUNG HANJI MAEUL
'후대에 전하는 가치'
전북 완주는 예로부터 고려지의 원산지로 1980년대까지도 유명 한지 생산지였다.
완주군은 고려지의 전통을 계승하고 명맥을 이어가기 위해 2010년 대승한지마을을 조성했다.
한옥스테이와 한지 제조 체험 공간이 마련돼 있으며, 김한섭 장인이 거주하며 한지 체험을 돕고 있다.
한지로 만든 벽지, 전등, 지갑 등 다양한 한지 상품도 판매하고 있다.
'The value handed down to future generations'
Hailed as the birthplace of Goryeoji (高麗紙, literally: 'Korea-paper'.
A luxury paper exported to China during the Goryeo dynasty), Wanju, Jelloabuk-do was a vital region of Hanji manufacturing through the 1980s.
To preserve and nurture the tradition of Goryeoji production, Daeseung Hanji Village was established in 2010 with resident artisan Kim Han-seob, offering Hanok Stay and a comprehensive Hanji crafting experience to visitors and Hanji enthusiasts.
The wallpapers, lamps and wallets are some of the most popular souvenirs.
