5대에 걸쳐 화학약품을 쓰지 않고 자연재료와 전통방식으로만 한지를 제작하는 전통한지 제조장이다.
국가무형유산 김삼식 한지장과 경상북도 무형문화유산 김춘호 전승교육사가 전통을 이어오고 있다.
직접 재배하는 1년생 닥나무와 닥풀 등 최상의 원료로 종이를 만들며 복원용지로 세계적 명성을 얻었다.
서화지, 민화지, 책지, 탁본지, 복원지 등의 질 좋은 전통한지를 생산한다.

'Workshop safeguarding history'

This workshop has been producing Hanji for five generations without using chemical additives, relying solely on natural materials and traditional practice. National Intangible Heritage holder Kim Sam-sik and Gyeongsangbuk-do Intangible Cultural Heritage Holder Kim Chun-ho carry on the tradition. They have received a global reputation as producers of restoration paper with their direct cultivation of one-year-old mulberry trees and natural lye in producing the finest quality paper. They produce excellent quality traditional Hanji, including seohwaji(painting and calligraphy paper), minhwaji(folk painting paper), chaekji(book paper), takbonji(rubbing paper), and restoration paper.
